Grangethorpe finishing school for young ladies has a reputation for high standards of academic achievement and for its disciplinary regime that harks back to another era. Headmaster Basil Sterling is in hospital for a prostate operation and pupils Jenkins and Parker take the opportunity to misbehave. Little do they realise Basil has left in charge, Miss Killjoy, who is a firm believer in corporal punishment and the old adage-spare the rod and spoil the child!
